Programme Overview

Our MBA programme and graduate certification courses can help you manage these changes and evolve in your career with the knowledge and experience to address the future challenges in the industry.
This programme is offered at Les Roches by Universidad Europea in Madrid, one of Spain's leading business universities. The on-campus portion of the MBA programme can easily be completed in just under one year. There are four 10-week modules followed by a thesis project that will be completed in correlation with your current line of work.
Academics
Les Roches and Universidad Europea, one of Spain’s top private business universities, have come together to offer you this special onsite degree programme, designed to help prepare managers for the challenges in the "new" world of hospitality. Over 25 leading international hotel companies were consulted in the development of this programme in order to ensure that the most relevant, effective and dynamic courses are offered.
The programme is divided into four 10-week modules followed by a thesis project to be completed in the workplace.
July Module: Business Courses*
As an executive, you need exposure to the fundamentals of finance, marketing and economics. The courses in this module will allow you to explore more specialized subjects in finance or marketing. At the end of this module, you will select either Hospitality Finance or Marketing as your area of concentration for continued study.
October Module: Hospitality Finance or Marketing
You will follow courses specifically tailored for a career in hospitality finance or marketing. A balance of academic and applied theory is used with some learning activities conducted outside the classroom.
January Module: Hospitality Leadership
Take courses that focus on the human elements of executive management most important in hospitality. You will examine leadership, business relationships, development of managers and organizational strategy, in both the classroom and your own workplace.
April Module: Hospitality Technology
Hotel companies are spending millions in development of new business practices. As an executive, you need to understand what is involved in the new technologies that have revolutionized the hotel industry.
*Note: Students must complete the business courses module before beginning their major.
Admission Requirements
In order to be successful in undertaking graduate-level studies, students should:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning in any field.
- Obtain a minimum TOEFL score of 575 or equivalent for non-native English speakers.
- Provide two letters of reference (one academic and one professional)
- GMAT – on advice – CODE 7159
