New HO I and English Enhancement Program

English Admissions Criteria:

In order to enroll on this program, students must have a minimum of TOEFL 400points (IELTS 4.0) or equivalent as well as meet all other academic and non academic criteria of the SHA diploma (age, education level, etc.).

This program will allow students to gain TOEFL 50 points (IELTS 0.5 points) per semester. Therefore the English level improvement will be the following:

Semester 1: HO 1A from TOEFL 400 to TOEFL 450 (or equivalent)

Semeter 2: HO 1B from TOEFL 450 to TOEFL 500 (or equivalent)

Semester 3: Internship

Semester 4: HO II TOEFL 500 or equivalent

Semester 6 - Internship

The fees for the 3 Year Swiss Hotel Association Hotel Management programme include tuition, board & lodging during the academic semester, exams, school equipment, professional equipment, washing and ironing of uniforms, school nurse, accident insurance, residence tax, student work permit, sports facilities on the school campus, and Career Development and Industry Placement Office (for consultation, assistance and visits to students during their internship in Switzerland). Accommodation on campus for 5th semester is not required. If not taken, CHF 2,625.- per semester will be deducted from school fees. Along with tuition and room and board, some additional fees may apply.

Tuition Fees for Swiss Nationals

Tuition Fees for Swiss Nationals: Swiss Nationals benefit from a total reduction of: CHF 15,000/- for the Diploma programme (CHF 5,000.- per year), CHF 5,000.- for the BBA programme (CHF 2,500.-per semester), CHF 5,000.0 for the MBA programme (CHF 1,250.- per module), CHF 5,000.- for the Post-Graduate Diploma programme (CHF 2,500.- per semester)
Special Packages

We also offer combined programme packages at discounted rates.
Additional Fees

Accommodation Deposit: The student's first semester invoice will include a deposit of CHF 500.- (EUR 317*) to cover any damage caused to Les Roches property by the student during his/her studies. This amount or the remainder will be reimbursed at the end of the course.
Textbooks: Charges vary. Books are purchased in bulk to offer students the best prices.
Parking Fees: Limited parking space is available for students wishing to keep a car on campus. Charges vary from CHF 200-400.- (EUR 150-250*) per semester
Medical Insurance: In addition to tuition fees, there is a compulsory medical insurance premium of CHF 650.- for each semester. Students are covered for medical treatment by a qualified medical doctor, medicine prescribed by the doctor (according to the official list) and hospitalization. Students will receive full details upon enrollment.

Loan Information for U.S. and Canadian Students

Les Roches is approved by the International Education Finance Corporation to participate in the International Student Loan Program and Canadian Higher Education Loan Program (CanHELP). US students are eligible if they are citizens or permanent residents of the United States. Canadian students must have Canadian citizenship.
