Programme Overview
Certification Programme
This programme will give you a thorough understanding and application of operations management. Comprised of a rigorous 19-week semester and three-month internship, the programme will help you gain the critical knowledge and skills you need to start a successful career in the industry. You will learn vital aspects of the global business including finance, human resources, and operations management. After completing this programme, you can easily pick up a second semester of studies towards a Post-Graduate Diploma.
Diploma Programme
This intensive programme consists of two 19-week semesters with a three-month internship in the hospitality industry. You will learn about the strategy and planning side of the business, and gain hands-on experience in international culinary arts. The Post-Graduate Diploma Programme is operational and hands-on, culminating in the Capstone Events Management Project in the second semester. After completing this programme, you may choose to continue your studies towards a Post-Graduate Higher Diploma.
Higher Diploma Programme
Every great manager in this active industry needs to possess the fundamentals of leadership. The courses in this programme focus on the human elements of executive management most important in hospitality. You will examine leadership, business relationships, development of managers and organizational strategy, in both the classroom and your own workplace. After completing this programme, you may choose to start a managerial-level internship and continue your studies towards an MBA at Les Roches.
Academics
Upon successful completion of the Post-Graduate Diploma Programme, you will have the professional knowledge to qualify for an entry-level management position or join a management-training programme in the international hospitality industry. Depending on your previous education and/or work experience, you may also qualify for a supervisory position in an international hospitality establishment.

Internships
Internships last a minimum duration of three months and take place in the hospitality industry. The internship is an integral part of the programmes and will directly relate to what you have already learned in the classroom and laboratory. You will be given an administrative, supervisory, or training position (with, if possible, exposure to a variety of operating departments) in a Swiss or international hotel or other hospitality establishment. Your supervisor will work with you to incorporate the knowledge and skills you have already acquired into everyday, hands-on work experience.

Admission Requirements
- You must hold a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from a recognized academic institution
- Since all instruction is in English, there is a minimum English language proficiency requirement for all applicants.
