Programme Overview
During this year-long programme, you’ll build upon your previously acquired technical and operational managerial competencies. You will develop confidence and improve your ability in a range of vital management skills, including Informational Technology, Financial Management, Marketing and Human Resources. Tutorial Support
Academic tutorials are provided to support students during their studies and honours research. Additionally, personal development is stressed and aided through tutorials and the completion of competence portfolios.
External Professional Qualification
The opportunity to gain professional qualifications of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Association of Certified Chartered Accountants is possible depending upon previous coursework and the electives chosen for study.
Capstone Project
Students undertake a Capstone project during their second semester that integrates competencies from across the spectrum of professional, business and general education subjects. Project design varies by semester as student preferences and interests are considered during development.
Admission Requirements
- The Bachelor of Business Administration in International Hotel Management Programme is open to students who have successfully completed the three-year Swiss Hotel Association Diploma in Hotel Management, or an equivalent programme recognized by Les Roches.
- Students from other Hotel Schools are considered for entry into the BBA programme at a point appropriate to their qualifications. In order to make a formal academic evaluation, candidates are required to submit an official programme outline and transcript of their previous studies to Les Roches. Certificates of working experience in the hotel industry are also an asset.
- Since all instruction is in English, there is a minimum English language proficiency requirement for all applicants.
