Visa Information
Depending on your nationality, a number of things may happen regarding your visa application process. Many candidates will receive a list of documents from Les Roches that must be completed for the Swiss Embassy. As part of their visa application, candidates must make a personal request at the Swiss Embassy in whichever country they are living. After 6-8 weeks, Les Roches will be notified of a student’s visa approval by the respective Embassy, and a copy will be mailed/faxed to the student.
Some candidates will also be forwarded a list of documents that must be sent to the school. In this case, it is Les Roches that will apply directly to the local Swiss authorities for the candidates long-term authorization residency permit.
Finally, students with European Union passports and those from a small number of other countries (with which Switzerland has bilateral agreements) need only send documents to the school and fill in a form upon arrival.
